Identify the key elements of an effective CISD, including structure, safety, confidentiality, and facilitated discussion. Recognize the CISD curve and understand how individuals may respond emotionally and physiologically throughout the process. Define homogeneous groups and explain why group composition is important during a CISD. Identify and explain the stages of a CISD, from introduction through re-entry. Apply CISD concepts through practice scenarios and demonstrate appropriate facilitation techniques.
